I would like to wish all present much prosperity, love, and all sorts of blessings from all of your gods, God, faiths, non-faiths, on this sweet Deepavali, (Diwali), day.

Next to Holi, the festival of color, Diwali, the festival of lights, is truly my most favorite Indian festival, ever. A fresh start, day, awaits us all. Peace and love to all.

Love,

MoonVine

I only know because I have a teacher friend who's very happy for getting the day off ;) - but whenever it is here's wishing prosperity, love, and all sorts of blessings right back at you!

Also: I have a plan to get the goddess Lakshmi to visit my house! it involves the king and queen, a pearl neclace and the Tweenies (but don't tell anyone)

Come home! by moonvine (4.00 / 1) #5 Thu Nov 08, 2007 at 01:50:38 PM EST
Well, I guess you could light up some lamps, candles, make some goodies with your babies, put some music, dance, light up some small firecrackers... how's that? If you were here, I'd feed you and show you around, introduce you to everybody, and we would have a grand ole time!
